An Art Deco strap bracelet, the calibré-cut sapphires cooler in daylight than you expect, never showy. It is back-carved so the light enters from behind — the maker's quiet trick. It came to us from a Florentine family, still in the fitted box it was put away in. It asks very little of whoever wears it next and gives back a great deal.
