Brooches · Art Deco
Serafina, 1839
€3,390
Onyx worked into platinum by hand.
The story
A small Art Deco thing, and a serious one. The onyx is cooler in daylight than you expect, never showy, the calibré-cut channel setting unmistakable. Each stone is closed in its own collet, the way settings were made before machines.
It reached us out of a house in Turin, unworn for a lifetime and none the worse for it. It has outlived everyone who owned it and shows no sign of stopping.
