Sapphires in matched girandole earrings.
The story
The whole point of these Belle Époque girandole earrings is restraint — sapphires, carrying a soft royal blue that seems to come from inside, and nothing more than fine millegrain. The gallery is sawn through with a saw-blade no thicker than a hair.
The last owner was a Parisian apartment; with a note in the box naming the woman who first wore it. Nothing about it was made to impress, which is exactly why it does.
