The story
A small Mid-century thing, and a serious one. The citrines is bright at arm's length, quiet up close, the sculpted goldsmithing unmistakable. It is finished on the inside as carefully as on the face, where no one would ever look.
It reached us out of a house near Prague, unworn for a lifetime and none the worse for it. It is the kind of thing you buy once and never think to replace.
