Cadence Rivière

A rivière in high-carat gold, rose-cut diamonds deepening to colourless white fire under candlelight. Whoever made it favoured cannetille goldwork. Each stone is closed in its own collet, the way settings were made before machines. It had spent two generations with a Yorkshire estate before it found its way to us, passed hand to hand and never once sold until now. It has outlived everyone who owned it and shows no sign of stopping.
